Mastery of each essential unit is evaluated with an “A” or “B”. “B” represents mastery at a very good level and “A” represents mastery that demonstrates higher order thinking skills. Mediocre work, which would traditionally receive a “C” and “D,” is not accepted; students are required to engage in the essential unit until they achieve mastery. If a student has mastered a unit with a “B” evaluation, he/she may wish to demonstrate a higher level of mastery at a later time, in that current school year, to change the evaluation to an “A”. Unit achievement is reported 5 time each year/every quintile.
QSI Shekou goes by the same seven success orientations as all other QSI schools do, which are: A. Trustworthiness
B. Responsibility
C. Concern for Others
D. Kindness/Politeness
E. Group Interaction
F. Aesthetic Appreciation
G. Independent Endeavor
